Leum Software Solutions, Inc. was founded in 2001 by Scott Leum as a private consulting company specializing in custom programming solutions for the Microsoft Windows platform.  Since then, the company has developed unique software solutions for customers such as Trek Bicycle Corporation, MediNotes Corporation, AppMed Inc., Nihon Kohden America.

Whether it is private consulting for companies or shrink wrapped solutions for the medical and retail industries, our emphasis continues to be specialized database applications for vertical niche markets like independent bicycle dealers (Ascend) or podiatrists (PodMed).

Prior to starting Leum Software, Scott attended medical school at Des Moines University.  It was there that he began developing multimedia learning aids for medical students.  After graduating and becoming a podiatrist, Scott developed a software program called PodNotes to automate the process of patient charting.   In 1996, Scott co-founded MediNotes Corporation with PodNotes as it's flagship product.  The company quickly grew and branched into other specialties with their new and improved product, Charting Plus.  In 2000, Scott resigned as president of MediNotes to pursue private consulting.
